The Blacksun Festival is meant to be a Gothic Industrial event of international quality. We want to create an event where afterwards people say they had one of their best weekends of the year with us. It’s a festival that was created and run by people who love to dance, see great bands, and meet interesting people.
We think we did that last year, and for this year we will go even further.

The first thing about this festival that strikes people is the bands. No other event in North America puts so many internationally recognized Goth Industrial artists on one stage. Don’t be fooled by this – great bands are only one part of what makes this a superb event. DJ’s from around the world that keep you dancing for hours is a piece that is often overlooked, and the social dimension is also a huge part. Even the host city of New Haven plays a large role in making this such a special weekend.
