A: All the announced bands are confirmed with signed contracts. Should any of the bands on the mainstage (Toad's Place) drop out for any reason (illness/whatever) refunds will be offered to all current ticket holders. This refund policy does not apply to bands on the second stage (Alchemy). Please see our refund policy here (link).
Q: I'm a DJ and I would like to see if I can spin, what do I need to do?
A: DJ's who would like to spin for Blacksun Festival II should send their contact info, bio, and sample playlist to DJ@Blacksun-festival.com. The cut off date for DJ submissions is April 15th, 2006.

A: The Blacksun Festival is offering merchants vender space on Saturday August 6th and Sunday August 7th. Each vender space will be 8 feet by 8 feet. The fee includes electric, 8' table, and two chairs. We are only taking applications of merchants who wish to vend for both days. Q: Is this an all ages event?
A: You can see the main stage bands at Toad's Place if you are under 18 years old, however you will not be able to enter Alchemy (which is 18+) for the events held there. You will also be allowed at the picnic.
Q: I'm aged 18 x 20, how is that going to impact my festival experience?
A: You will be able to participate in all festival events, however due to Connecticut state law there will be parts of the venues that you will be unable to access. In Toads Place this means you will be unable to access a bar area, a lounge, and the Lilly Pad. In Alchemy you will have full access to the venue, except for the areas immediately around the bars.

A: Connecticut State law restricts smoking indoors at the festival venues. Toad's Place has a courtyard area for smokers over 21 (those younger will have to exit the venue). Alchemy has a patio that is accessible by all ages.

Q: How do I get around New Haven?
A: Once you have arrived in New Haven, you should be able to walk to all Festival Venues, Hotels, Clubs, and Restaurants. One of the major reasons why we chose New Haven in the first place was how easy it is to get around - no need for vehicles!
