Take the time out from the bands, DJs, parties and all the other events going on to view some inspirational work by some very talented artists. These two Cafes have very kindly agreed to host our Art Show. Don"t forget the reception on Sunday at 1pm held at Diner 21.

Purchase your ticket, or get your festival bracelet if you already have an advanced ticket. If you have an advanced ticket please come here to get your bracelet that will grant you entrance into the venues for the weekend. After 10:00pm on July 28th the Ticketing and Check-In moves to Toad’s Place in the evenings, and to Alchemy for Saturday and Sunday afternoon.

Here is an opportunity to get an early start for the weekend. Grab a cup of joe, sit down and meet some of the people coming from all over to attend the festival. We will also have a DJ spinning Ethereal, Ambient, and Medieval music.

Before heading to Alchemy on Sunday, join us at the Blacksun closing reception for a last hurrah. Stop in Diner 21 for some complementary refreshments and an opportunity to meet your favorite bands and DJs among some of the festival's featured artwork. So grab your friends, old and new, and come hang out, eat, drink, and get ready for another night of haunting and innovative music. For Sunday afternoon we relax and later, we dance!

It's all about expression. We exert expression to communicate, to define ourselves and the world around us, whether we use our bodies, a camera lens, or a paint brush. Last year Blacksun was without fail a meeting of expression, and this year to that already outstanding display we will add the visual arts. Walk among the photographs, illustrations, and paintings and peer into a world where the figures welcome you in and the colors speak to you. Stop in at the Rainbow Cafe and Diner 21 to see our up-and-coming featured artists from all over the United States. Their incredible talent will speak for itself, but we will tell you this is an event you won't want to miss.

A DJ spinning Ethereal, Ambient, and Medieval music will add the audio soundtrack to the visual journey.

The final event is one of great variety! Late Sunday afternoon see some great bands - 51 Peg from Baltimore put on a good Industrial Show, Jenn Vix from Providence is noted for her Gothic tunes, and the headliner is synthpop favorites Null Device. Following the bands is the :angeldustrial: variety performance and the Techstyles Fashion Show! Then dance the night away to DJs Annabel Evil, Reverend Brian, Th'Elf, and DV8.
